FAQs
How long does the Permanent Makeup take?
The total time is usually 2½ – 3 hours. The initial procedure will take approximately 2 hours. Touch up require far less time – 1-1½ hours.
How long does the Permanent Makeup last?
The colour and the shape of brows are seen on the skin from 1 to 3 years long, but the quality of it depends on many factors, such as: your ‘after care’ of the area that the procedure have been done, your general health, medications you’re taking, sun exposure, age or skin products used. Remember that refreshers (Top-Ups)are needed to keep it look great.
Does the Permanent Makeup it hurt?
Although everyone’s comfort level is different, most clients agree permanent makeup procedures are far more comfortable than anticipated. Usually described on Level 3/4 on a scale of 0–10. There are different methods available to help you with the comfort management, including various topical aesthetic ointments.
How long does it take to heal after my Permanent Makeup treatment?
Just after the treatment, the brows swell and have redness around it for up to 48 hours. The area can feel a bit stiff, as it is a fresh wound. After about 2 days, a delicate trickle begins to appear, the skin is tightly pinched and may itch a little. Immediately after the treatment, your eyebrows will be a bit darker (have more intense colour), but don’t panic – it is only a very short stage (you will think that they are too bright, but it will pass).
After 3 to 5 days you will discover scabs, which absolutely must not be stripped, because you can deprive yourself of pigment in this area. Your skin after-care will be crucial to the results you will see and when it is done wrong, is often the reason why you may have some unwanted effects after the treatment. For a few days after the procedure, it is necessary to apply a cream that helps with the healing process. Do not tear off scabs, soak your skin, sunbathe, use the solarium, swimming pool or sauna. Be patient, the pigment is slowly settling every day, and visit us after a month (4-6 weeks) for Top-Up.
How long does Scalp Micropigmentation take?
Usually between 2-3 sessions, depending on the size of the area that needs treating, each session can take between 2-5 hours.
Will Scalp Micropigmentation work on grey hair?
Yes, grey hair does not appear grey because the hair root itself is darker. Hair only looks grey when it gets longer. However, we use a grey-scale pigment that can be adjusted in shade to blend with lighter hair tones.
How long does Scalp Micropigmentation last?
Clients should expect the treatment to typically last between 4-6 years. After that time, some people may experience some slight fading, but they can come back in for a quick touch up. This cosmetic solution is permanent, but it can be tweaked as the years go on. Some clients don’t need to ever come back for touch ups after one procedure, but some can come back every 3-5 years. The results vary.
